Track 202 Structured Training
Every Wednesday 6:30- 8:30 PM. May-September
These sessions are for cyclists who want to use the velodrome for personal fitness and/or racing (both on and off the track). Each session will be preceded by an open warm-up period, and begin with a group roll out. Riders will then break up into groups, based on ability and experience level, to complete a guided workout. Sessions will have periodization through the Spring and Summer. Earlier in the season the focus will be on endurance and will gradually transition to speed work.
Prerequisites: Mastery of drills taught in Track 201. Riders are expected to be knowledgeable of all drills and to be comfortable riding on the track with people of different speeds.
