The 2014 season – May 1 thru October 31 – was our best season yet in terms of unique riders, total ridership, spectators and total attendance. We had 150 unique junior riders (aged 18 and under) and nearly 400 unique adult riders. Our riders, racers and fans enjoyed 24 Track 101 classes, 20 race days, and we attracted over 5,000 visitors in 2014 alone.
We are conducting a Cleveland Velodrome Survey to better understand our riders, racers and spectators. We want to identify areas for improvement and and see if there is enough demand to justify constructing a building over the track – so we can ride, train and race in winter.
The survey is 10 questions and takes about 2 minutes.
Also, we are making a final push for the 2014 Annual Fund. Please consider supporting us so we can continue to provide free youth programming and free adult Track 101. Visit our Annual Fund page a make a donation. No amount is too small and donations are tax deductible.
Lastly, we are having a Year End Open House on Thursday 12/4 from 5pm to 9pm at Sokol Center just next to the velodrome. There will be complimentary appetizers and beverages. The schedule of events will be as follows:
5:00pm – Doors open
