Join us for a two-day comprehensive program that offers expert instruction on track racing, cycling, building strength/ endurance, and optimum nutrition.  The Clinic is led by elite track sprinter Mandy Marquardt and is open to all female-identifying cyclists ranging from novice to expert.

  • 9:00 pick up velodrome bike (if you need one)
  • 9:30 intro to track (beginner & techniques)
  • Midday/lunch break & sports health/nutrition presentation: Dr. Oberle, Cleveland Clinic
  • 1:30-4:30 continue track intro and techniques/skills
  • Evening: Group dinner at Masthead Brewing (optional, cost not included in registration)

Sun 5/27

  • 8:00 Yoga in our Velodrome infield
  • 9:00-12:30 continue track intro and techniques/skills, focus on individual feedback
  • 12:30 Lunch and meet track sponsors and supporters
  • 1:00-3:00: Community meet & greet with Mandy, with special invitations to Children With Diabetes (CWD) and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)

Mandy Marquardt began cycling at 10 years old, competing in endurance road and track events. At the age of 16, she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Marquardt balances racing and diabetes management and does not let diabetes stop her from pursuing Olympic aspirations.In 2013, Marquardt made the switch over to track sprinting, and is currently one of the top female sprinters in the United States. With years of balancing education and cycling, Marquardt graduated in 2014 from The Pennsylvania State University. Marquardt is currently the Cycling Coach for The Pennsylvania State University – Lehigh Valley campus. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and mentoring riders, as well as focusing on track cycling full-time for the United States, and Team Novo Nordisk, a global all-diabetes team of cyclists, triathletes, and runners, spearheaded by the world’s first all-diabetes men’s professional cycling team.

Marquardt lives in Allentown, Pennsylvania and is coached by Andrew Harris, training full-time with Sprinter’s Edge. She is a 13x U.S. National Champion, was named to the 2016 Olympic Long Team and is a 2020 Olympic hopeful.
